G20 Consumer Summit
Building a digital world consumers can trust
In 2017, Germany will hold the G20 Presidency. For the Federal Ministry of Justice and Consumer Protection it is important that we use the G20 framework to consider the needs of consumers. The digital economy poses a major challenge to consumers. This is why, to coincide with World Consumer Rights Day on 15 March 2017, the Federal Ministry of Justice and Consumer Protection is working with Germany's consumer organisation, the Federation of German Consumer Associations (vzbv), and the global organisation Consumers International to organise a G20 Consumer Summit on “Building a digital world consumers can trust”.
